Developer Neotro Inc and publisher Phoenixx just announced that the twin stick shoot ’em up Never Awake will hit Xbox Series X|S next month. Never Awake is currently available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 worldwide. Read my review of the Switch version here. The shoot ’em up will be debuting on Xbox platforms with the 1.1 update bringing in the secret challenge, six accessories, gameplay optimizations, and balance adjustments. This update also adds in new battle accessories, secret Himitsu Challenge after clearing world 8, and more.
I’ll be checking Never Awake out on Xbox for sure next month. You can grab Never Awake on PC via Steam here where an artbook and soundtrack are also available. There is also a discounted bundle for the game and all extra content on Steam at 15% off. I hope Never Awake also gets a physical release on Xbox Series X in some regions.
Twin stick shoot ’em up Never Awake is out now on PS5, PS4, Switch, and Steam worldwide. The Never Awake Xbox release date is set for June 29 worldwide. As of now, it is a digital-only release.
